The Engine
The Revolution® Max 1250 liquid cooled engine is built to impress. With 150 horsepower and plenty of torque, get ready for adrenaline-filled rides.
The engine is also a structural component of the motorcycle chassis, which eliminates the need for a traditional frame. This unique design reduces the motorcycle's overall weight, which helps improve handling.
The Ride Modes
Different routes call for different motorcycle adjustments. That's why the Pan America motorcycle has 5 pre-programed modes: Sport, Road, Rain, Off-Road, and Off-Road Plus.
Riders can also customize their own modes. Tune the power delivery, engine braking, Cornering Enhanced Antilock Braking System, and Cornering Enhanced Traction Control System settings.
The Riding Position
The frame design and mid-mount foot controls call for an upright riding position. It'll provide the necessary visibility of the road while also lending itself well for comfort on long-distance rides.
The Pan America motorcycle also comes with a passenger seat. Bring a friend or family member along for the ride!
The Tires
The Pan America motorcycle comes with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cast aluminum wheels. They can tackle paved and unpaved roads with ease. Every aspect of their design is focused on optimizing performance, from the tread to the internal construction.
The Fairing
Not all motorcycles come with a windscreen installed. But the Harley-Davidson Pan America model does! The frame mounted fairing helps reduce wind fatigue, allowing riders to stay on the open road for longer. It also helps shield the rider from kicked-up road debris, bugs, and rain.
The Aesthetic
The standard Pan American motorcycle comes in River Rock Gray or Vivid Black. The Pan America Special comes in Vivid Black, Gauntlet Gray Metallic, Deadwood Green, or Baja Orange/Stone Washed White Pearl. Both models sport a rugged design that is modeled off of off-road vehicles.
The Optional Extras
The default model comes with plenty of perks. But for those who want a bit more, there is the Pan America Special motorcycle. It offers extras including a tire pressure monitoring system, heated hand grips, and a brush guard. The more you plan on embarking on touring trips out in nature, the more you will want to consider this option.
