Redesigned Softail Frame

The Sport Glide is part of the Softail line, which means it takes full advantage of the iconic Softail chassis. It’s one of the most beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle families, well known for its awesome style and stellar performance. They rely on the distinctive Softail hidden monoshock rear suspension to give the rider cleaner lines and better handling. The Sport Glide takes this a step further. It runs on a frame that’s 34% stiffer than previous Softail models and is overall a much lighter bike. This means you’ll have more control over a more responsive bike, no matter how tight the curves, how hard the lines, or how severe the angles. And even though it’s on the lightweight side of the Softail spectrum, high performance suspension makes it possible for you to tack on extra luggage for long trips and not compromise your ride’s performance.

Milwaukee-Eight Engine

At the core of the Sport Glide beats the all-new Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine, a beast with over a century of engineering innovation and riding experienced packed into its gears. Spend just a few moments behind the throttle and you’ll see this electronically fuel injected V-Twin engine gives you massive torque. The Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine also is faster from 0-60 mph and 60-80 mph. And even though it’s filled with power and all the growl you’ll ever need, this engine is completely counterbalanced to minimize vibrations. It’s also squeezed into a sleek frame to fit the Sport Glide like a glove without sticking out anywhere.

Touring Ready

Now that you have the power and the performance you need, the Sport Glide is ready to take you wherever you want to go. This is because it’s able to function both as a cruiser and a touring bike. The lightweight stature makes it ideal for commuting, but also makes for more agile handling on longer trips. The mini-fairing deflects harsh, highway winds from your body and keeps you more refreshed on long days of riding. The low-vibration Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine keeps your ride smooth from start to finish and, for all that extra cargo, the Sport Glide comes standard with hard-side locking saddlebags to keep your luggage safe and out of sight. And if you’re just heading to work and need to shed a few extra pounds to make commuting easier, the saddlebags and the mini-fairing are removable. No matter what your day requires of you, the Sport Glide is up to the task.

The Sport Glide also comes completely stacked with all the best features the motorcycle industry has to offer.
